How to Make Sushi

TAICHI HAGITA DESTROYS DULAN BEACHBREAK.

Japanese ripper Taichi Higata has been visiting Dulan for the past couple of seasons for the Taiwan Open of Surfing. A very cool and humble guy who has been all over the world following the tour, Taichi absolutely kills it. So it’s funny that he still chooses to stay in Dulan when most of the pros stay up in Jinzun near the contest site. When I asked why he likes Dulan, he responded: “I find Dulan a much better place to train, because there are so many peaks and it never gets that crowded. Plus there are lots of secret spots nearby”. Well I guess that’s why we also love this area so much.

On his last trip we got some photos (below) and clips (above) of him surfing Dulan beachbreak. Some of the days were tiny, but that didn’t stop him from making sushi.
